Terms and Conditions
Last updated
By reading i365.fun, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.They are written to be read, not to be impressive, and the short version is this: the site is free, it is offered as-is, nothing on it is advice, and you may read and quote it but not copy it wholesale or use it to train an AI model.
These terms apply to anyone who accesses the site, anywhere in the world. If the law of your country gives you rights that cannot be waived by agreement, nothing in these terms removes them; the section on governing law explains how that works.
Who we are
The site is published by the operator of i365.fun (“we”, “us”, “the operator”). You can contact us at support@i365.fun.
What this site is
i365.fun publishes general-interest articles. It is free to read. There is no account to create, no fee to pay, and no service being sold to you — which is worth stating plainly, because it is the reason the disclaimers below are as broad as they are. Nothing here is a transaction, and no professional, fiduciary or advisory relationship of any kind is created between you and the operator by reading it.
The site may be changed, interrupted, suspended or withdrawn — in whole or in part, with or without notice — and no liability arises from doing so. We do not promise continuous availability.
Who may use the site
You must be at least 16 years old to use the site. If you are younger, you may use it only with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the site, you represent that you meet this requirement or have that consent.
If you use the site on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms, and “you” includes it.
You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including any law in your country about the content you access. The site is accessible worldwide, but that does not mean its content is appropriate or lawful in every country, and we make no representation that it is.
Your licence to use the site
Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and read the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. No other right is granted, and no ownership of anything on the site passes to you.
You may link to any page. You may quote a short excerpt for commentary, criticism, review, news reporting, teaching or similar purposes, with clear attribution and a link back to the article, provided the quote is not a substitute for the article and does not misrepresent it. Any other use requires our prior written permission.
What you must not do
You agree not to:
- use the site unlawfully, or in any way that infringes the rights of anyone else;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, its providers or any system connected to it, or probe, scan or test its security without written permission;
- interfere with the site's operation, including by introducing malicious code, imposing a load that degrades it for other readers, or attempting a denial-of-service attack;
- scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically copy the site's content, or republish it in bulk, whether by automated means or otherwise, beyond what
robots.txtpermits and ordinary search-engine indexing; - use the site or its content to develop, train, fine-tune or evaluate an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model, or include it in a dataset for that purpose, without our prior written permission;
- frame, mirror or impersonate the site, or misrepresent an affiliation with it;
- collect personal information about other people from the site, or use the site to send unsolicited communications;
- bypass any technical measure we use to protect the site or its content;
- use the site in a way that violates applicable export, sanctions or anti-corruption laws, or that facilitates illegal activity.
We may suspend or block access — including by technical means — where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken. That is not a penalty and creates no liability to you.
Content and intellectual property
The articles, their selection and arrangement, the site design, and the names and marks used on the site are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by copyright, trade-mark and other laws. No licence is granted to you except the limited one above.
You may not republish articles in full or in bulk, sell them, use them commercially, present them as your own, or use them to train an AI model. Article images may be hosted on third-party infrastructure on the site's behalf and are subject to the same restrictions.
We reserve all rights in respect of text and data mining to the fullest extent the law allows, including under Article 4 of the EU Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market and equivalent provisions. Any use of the site's content for machine learning or AI training requires our prior written permission.
If you send us a suggestion, correction or other feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use it without obligation or compensation. Do not send us anything you need to keep confidential.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, email support@i365.fun with: the work you own; the URL of the material you say infringes it; your name and contact details; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised; a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.
We will review the notice and may remove or disable access to the material while we do. Knowingly making a false or misleading notice may create liability for you. This is a notice-and-review process; it is not an admission that the site hosts third-party content, because it publishes its own editorial articles.
Not professional advice
Everything on this site is general information. It is not financial, investment, medical, psychological, legal or safety advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from someone qualified who knows your circumstances.Articles are written for a general reader, so they cannot account for your situation, your obligations, or your jurisdiction.
Do not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of anything you read here without taking proper advice first. This applies most sharply to the personal finance and mental wellbeing articles, where acting on general information as though it were tailored advice can cause real loss. If you have a medical emergency, contact emergency services rather than reading a page here.
Automated tools and AI-assisted content
Articles are produced with the assistance of automated tools as part of an editorial workflow, including automated research, drafting and quality checks. Automated drafting can produce errors, omit context, or state something confidently that is wrong. We do not warrant that any article is accurate, complete, current or suitable for your purpose. Verify anything important against a reliable primary source, and take qualified advice before acting.
We do not use reader data to train AI models. The restriction in “What you must not do” applies to anyone using the site's content for model training.
No warranty
The site and everything on it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no warranty is given that the content is accurate, complete, current or fit for any particular purpose, that the site will be available at any given time, or that it will be free of errors, interruption or harmful components.
Continuous availability is not promised and must not be relied on. We may change, interrupt, suspend or withdraw the site — in whole or in part, with or without notice — and no liability arises from doing so.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions above apply only to the extent the law allows, and nothing in them affects a statutory right you cannot waive.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator and anyone involved in producing, hosting or publishing the site exclude all liability for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content.This includes, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive and consequential loss; loss of profit, income, savings, business, goodwill or opportunity; loss or corruption of data; and loss arising from reliance on anything published here.
This exclusion applies regardless of the legal basis on which a claim is brought — contract, tort (including negligence), statute, misrepresentation or otherwise — and applies even if the operator has been advised of the possibility of such loss. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows, and, since this site charges nothing for access, that amount is nil to the extent permitted.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for: fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; death or personal injury caused by negligence; any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law; or your statutory rights as a consumer. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or in connection with the site must be brought within twelve months of the event giving rise to it, or within the shortest period the law allows. The disclaimers and limits in these terms are a reasonable allocation of risk for a site that is free to use and is offered without any payment, subscription or account.
You agree to indemnify us
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator, its contributors, licensors and service providers from any claim, loss, liability, damage or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: your breach of these terms; your misuse of the site; content or material you send to us; or your violation of any law or third-party right.
We may take over the defence of any matter covered by this indemnity, at your expense, and you agree to cooperate. This indemnity does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our own negligence or wilful misconduct, or to the extent the law does not permit it.
Privacy and cookies
Our privacy policy and cookies page explain what is collected, on what basis, and how to change your choice about analytics. They form part of the terms on which the site is offered. If there is a conflict between this page and the privacy policy about personal data, the privacy policy governs.
Links to other sites
The site links out to other websites. Those sites are not under this site's control, no responsibility is taken for their content, accuracy, availability or security, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you follow a link, the terms and privacy practices of the site you reach apply instead.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised at any time. The version that applies to you is the one published on this page when you use the site, and the date at the top of the page will change whenever the text does. An unchanged date means nothing above has changed. If a change is material, we may also draw attention to it on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the site.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict or end your access to the site at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms or if we need to protect the site, its readers or its providers. The sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law and general provisions survive any termination.
Governing law and where a dispute is heard
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the site (including non-contractual claims), are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For this purpose, the operator's principal place of business is the place where the individual or entity that operates i365.fun is established.
Subject to the next paragraph, the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute.
Nothing in these terms removes a right you have under mandatory consumer law.If you are a consumer and the mandatory law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts, or gives you protections that cannot be waived by agreement, you keep those rights and may rely on them. The operator may bring proceedings in any jurisdiction where necessary to protect its intellectual property, to enforce these terms, or to prevent or restrain a breach.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
Talk to us before a formal dispute
If you have a dispute, send a written notice to support@i365.fun describing the claim and what you want done. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. This is a courtesy and, to the extent your law permits, a step before formal proceedings; it does not prevent you from contacting a regulator, making a consumer complaint, or seeking urgent relief.
General
- Entire agreement. These terms, together with the privacy policy and cookies page, are the entire agreement between you and the operator about the site. They replace any earlier understanding.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if that is not possible, severed; the rest remain in full force. If a limitation of liability is found unenforceable in part, it applies to the greatest extent that remains lawful.
- No waiver. A failure or delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it, and no single or partial exercise of a right prevents further exercise.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign ours, including to a successor operator, on notice published on the site.
- No third-party rights. These terms do not give enforceable rights to anyone other than you and the operator, except that the operator's contributors, licensors and service providers may rely on the disclaimers and limits of liability.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for a failure or delay caused by something beyond our reasonable control, including provider outages, network failures, natural events, war, civil unrest, or legal restrictions.
- No partnership. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, fiduciary or employment relationship between you and the operator.
- Headings and language. Headings are for convenience only. These terms are written in English, and the English version prevails over any translation.
- Notices. Notices to us must be sent to support@i365.fun. Notices to you may be given by publishing them on the site, because there is no account through which to contact you directly.
